All Intimate messages are sent from our toll-free number 1-866-680-2180. Save it to your contacts so you recognize us.
Prompts are operator-controlled. Every conversation prompt sent by Intimate is written, reviewed, and curated in advance by the operator (Noah Kagan). Prompts are stored in a fixed prompt library inside our database and are scheduled by our own server — users cannot create, edit, submit, or trigger prompts. The full prompt catalog covers light relationship topics (e.g. "What's a small thing your partner did this week that made you smile?", "What should we do this weekend?", "Send a photo of something that made you smile today."). There is no user-generated content in the outbound Prompt or Confirmation messages, and no third party can inject content into them.
Reveal messages carry user replies, but are filtered. The Reveal message echoes each partner's own reply back to the other partner. Before any Reveal is sent, every reply is passed through Intimate's content filter, which screens for SHAFT content (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco/cannabis) and other prohibited content. If a reply is flagged, it is not forwarded to the partner — the Reveal substitutes the placeholder text shown above, and the sender receives the content-filter notice and may be removed from the service for repeated violations. Media attachments from flagged replies are also withheld.
Intimate is a small personal side project built and operated by Noah Kagan, an individual sole proprietor based in Austin, Texas. It's free to use and exists to help couples stay a little more connected through short, shared prompts by text.
We only send SMS messages to people who have personally signed up on this website with their own phone number and confirmed by replying YES. We do not sell, share, or rent opt-in information or phone numbers. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
