Intimate is a small personal project operated by Noah Kagan, an individual sole proprietor (Sole Proprietorship) located at 1305 E. 6th Street #3, Austin, TX 78702, USA. Intimate sends SMS messages from the toll-free number 1-866-680-2180. Questions about this policy can be sent to noahkagan@gmail.com.
When you sign up for Intimate, we collect: (a) your name and (b) your own mobile phone number. We do not collect your partner's information from you. Your partner separately enters their own name and phone number themselves when they open the invite link you send them, so each partner provides their own data with their own consent. We also store the SMS replies each of you sends in response to prompts so we can deliver them to your partner as part of the game.
We use the information you provide solely to operate the Intimate service: sending SMS prompts to the number you personally provided, receiving your replies, and sharing those replies with your designated partner. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes beyond the Intimate service itself.
By submitting the signup form on this website with your own phone number, checking the SMS consent box, and confirming via text (replying YES), you consent to receive recurring SMS messages from Intimate about couple notifications at the phone number you provide. Consent is collected 1:1 — only the owner of a phone number can opt that number in; partners do not opt each other in. Message frequency varies but is typically 2–3 messages per week. Message & data rates may apply depending on your carrier. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any Intimate message. For support, reply HELP or email noahkagan@gmail.com.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except as strictly necessary to deliver the messages themselves (see "Service Providers" below).
To operate the service we use two subprocessors:
Twilio Inc. — used to send and receive SMS messages on our behalf. Twilio processes phone numbers and message content strictly to deliver the messages and complies with its own privacy policy.
Supabase, Inc. — used to store account data (names, phone numbers, replies). Supabase complies with its own privacy policy.
These providers act only on our instructions and are contractually restricted from using your data for their own purposes.
We retain your account data (name, phone, replies) while your account is active. When you reply STOP or request deletion, we deactivate your account and delete your phone number and message history from our active database within 30 days.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing noahkagan@gmail.com. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete. We do not sell personal information.
Intimate is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the information.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and encrypted storage through our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by text or email to active users.
